Inclusion of Child in the Self Scale

The Inclusion of Child in the Self Scale (Brummelman et al., 2013) has been adapted from the Inclusion of Other in the Self Scale (Aron, Aron, & Smollan, 1992). It assesses the extent to which parents see their child as part of themselves. Parents are presented seven pictures, and are instructed to select the one that best describes their relationship with their child.
